A 27-year-old Arnold woman was arrested after she allegedly threatened to shoot her boyfriend and then drove away with her 6-year-old and 5-month-old daughters in an SUV. The incident happened March 29 at a home in the 1500 block of Avion Ridge in Arnold, authorities reported.
Officers were called at 9:17 p.m. to the home, and a 54-year-old Arnold man told authorities he was arguing with the woman before she threatened to shoot him and then left with the children in a 2011 GMC Acadia. The woman and two children were found a short time later at the QuikTrip, 1069 Jeffco Blvd., in Arnold, the report said.
Officers found a loaded .380-caliber Ruger pistol in the SUV, according to the report.
The woman was arrested and transported to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County for evaluation because the man said she also made suicidal statements. The children were released to the custody of an uncle, the report said.
Arnold Police will seek a charge against the woman through the Arnold Municipal Court for fourth-degree assault, domestic violence, Lt. Clinton Wooldridge said.
