A 37-year-old Arnold woman was arrested for allegedly assaulting a 39-year-old Arnold man she was in a relationship with. The incident happened about 6 p.m. Dec. 3 at home in the 2100 block of Christy Drive, Arnold Police reported.
The man told officers the woman showed up at the house in an intoxicated state and wanted to enter the home. After he wouldn’t let her in, the two got into an argument, and she allegedly struck him on the head with a wooden rod. The man had a red spot on his forehead, but he refused treatment from Rock Township Ambulance personnel, the report said.
The woman, who was already was wanted on an outstanding fugitive warrant from the St. Louis County Police, was not at the home when Arnold Police arrived. However, after a brief search of the area, she was located, arrested and taken to the Police Station, where she was held for 12 hours and released, according to the report.
Arnold Police will seek a charge against her through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office charge of second-degree assault domestic violence, Lt. Clinton Wooldridge said.
