Arnold Police are trying to identify two women who allegedly stole $1,325.79 worth of merchandise from Walmart, 2201 Michigan Ave. The women allegedly loaded a shopping cart with slippers, a backpack, a car seat, clothing and other items and left the store without paying for them, police reported.
The women allegedly stole the items at about 10:25 p.m. Aug. 16. The store reported the theft at about 1:30 p.m. Aug. 18, the report said.
As of Aug. 24, none of the stolen items had been recovered, and the women had not been identified, Detective Lt. Jeremy Christopher said. He asks anyone with information about the theft to call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
