Arnold Police are looking for a 37-year-old Wentzville man suspected of burglarizing a home in the 2400 block of Guardian Court, where more than $4,800 in electronics and other items were stolen. The burglary happened between 1:15 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. April 16, the report said.
The man allegedly had been going door to door in the neighborhood looking for a home to burglarize and reportedly was seen on video surveillance going into the home on Guardian Court. There were no signs of forced entry, Lt. Tom Leassner said.
The suspect allegedly stole a TV, video game consoles, stereo equipment and other electronics, as well as jewelry from that home and then left the scene in a black Chrysler 300, Leassner said.
He said the suspect allegedly sold the stolen items at pawn shops in several states, including in Illinois and Minnesota. Police believe the man is no longer in Missouri, although his last known address was in Wentzville, Leassner said.
As of May 3, the man had not been taken into custody, Leassner said. He asks anyone with information about the burglary to call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
