Arnold Police are seeking a man who allegedly robbed the Subway shop, 657 Jeffco Blvd., on Tuesday night (Nov. 7).
At about 8 p.m., the suspect allegedly entered the store and, after an employee greeted him, pulled out a gun and pointed it the employees, pulled a plastic bag out of his pocket and demanded money, Detective Lt. James Jones said.
The man took money from two cash registers, along with the store phone, and left, fleeing in a white four-door car driven by someone else, Jones said.
“He was in the store for 79 seconds,” Jones said.
He would not say how much money the suspect got away with.
No one was hurt in the robbery, Jones said.
The employees told police that the suspect is black and looked to be 25 to 35 years old. He is about 5-foot-9-inches tall and weighs between 185 and 225 pounds. He had very short hair and was unshaven. He was wearing a red Cardinals T-shirt with a dark sweatshirt or hoodie over it, dark jeans, white shoes with a black stripe on them, as well as a Cleveland Cavaliers baseball cap with orange lettering.
