Arnold Police are investigating two vehicle break-ins outside the Pear Tree Inn, 1201 Drury Lane. The vehicles were broken into between 12:01 a.m. and 7:45 a.m. May 25, and items were stolen from one of them, Lt. Clinton Wooldridge said.
A 2017 Jeep Cherokee’s driver-side rear window was shattered, and Audi car keys and $40 in cash were stolen from the vehicle. The damage to the Jeep was estimated at $100, the report said.
A door lock was damaged on a 2015 Chevrolet Malibu, but nothing was reported missing from that car. The damage to the Malibu was estimated at $500, according to the report.
As of June 4, none of the stolen items from the Jeep had been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, Wooldridge said. He asks anyone with information about the incident to call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
