Arnold Police are investigating a recent theft of about $1,500 in tools from a work van parked in the 2000 block of Key West in Arnold.
The theft was reported Feb. 23, and the theft occurred sometime the weekend before, when someone punched the rear lock to get inside the van and steal the tools, Arnold Police reported.
The van belonged to Hayes Mechanical in Belleville, Ill., and was parked at an Arnold home when the tools were stolen, Arnold Police Capt. Robert Ruckman said.
As of Wednesday (March 4), the tools had not been recovered, and there were no suspects or arrests, Ruckman said.
