Arnold Police are investigating the theft of a power washer from a pickup parked outside a home in the 3200 block of Biscayne Boulevard. The 4,000-psi DeWalt washer was stolen from the bed of a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado, police reported.
Arnold Police did not provide an estimated value for the power washer, although the department reported that it was worth more than $750, making it a felony theft.
A 23-year-old Arnold man said he parked his pickup at about 9 p.m. Feb. 23 and discovered the power washer stolen at about 6 p.m. Feb. 24, the report said.
As of Feb. 29, the power washer had not been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, Detective Lt. Jeremy Christopher said. He asks anyone with information about the theft to call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
