Arnold Police are investigating the theft of a .45-caliber Ruger pistol and two loaded magazines from an unlocked pickup parked outside a home in the 1300 block of Rockwood Forest Drive. The approximated value for the stolen items is not known, police reported.
A 35-year-old Arnold man said he parked his black 2011 GMC Sierra in his driveway at about 10 p.m. June 8. He told investigators he realized the gun and magazines were stolen at about 4 p.m. June 9, the report said.
There were no other reports of thefts from unlocked vehicles in the area during that time, according to the report.
As of June 13, neither the gun nor magazines had been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, Detective Lt. Jeremy Christopher said. He asks anyone with information about the theft to call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
