Investigators search a Mazda SUV that was driven this morning to Festus City Hall and Police Station on Tuesday morning by a woman who allegedly told officers she killed two of her children.

Arnold Police have identified a person of interest in the alleged theft of 120 hydrocodone pills from the CVS pharmacy, 2120 Lonestar Drive. The medication was prescribed to a 61-year-old Imperial man, police reported.

The theft of the opioid pain pills was reported at about 1:30 p.m. Jan. 22. The victim told police that CVS informed him someone else picked up his medication, the report said.

The man said he did not give permission for someone else to pickup his medication. It is not known how someone else was able to receive the medicine, according to the report.

The man told police the medication costs him $27. An amount for the medication’s full value was not provided.

As of Jan. 5, the medication had not been located, and no arrests had been made, Detective Lt. Jeremy Christopher said. He asks anyone with information about the theft to call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
