A 26-year-old Valmeyer, Ill., woman said another woman attacked her outside a home in the 1200 block of Los Olas Boulevard. The incident happened about 3 a.m. June 12, Arnold Police reported.
The alleged victim said the other woman, who has not been fully identified, is the ex-girlfriend of a man the victim was visiting in Arnold. The Illinois woman said she was inside the Arnold home with the man and the suspect showed up and allegedly threatened to hurt her, the report said.
The Illinois woman came out of the house, and the suspect allegedly hit her in the face with a sharp object police believe was a set of keys. The Illinois woman reportedly ended up with a cut above her lip and a laceration on the back of her head. She drove herself to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County for treatment before returning to Arnold to report the incident, according to the report.
As of June 18, Arnold Police were still trying to identify the suspect so she could be questioned, Lt. Clinton Wooldridge said.
