A 24-year-old Imperial man wanted on warrants from the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office and the Cuba and St. Louis County police departments was arrested after he allegedly was spotted driving a car with an expired license plate, Arnold Police reported.
An officer stopped a 2005 Ford Taurus on March 17 on Vogel Road near the West Outer Road because the car’s license plates expired in 2021. The officer discovered the driver was wanted on three outstanding warrants for failure to appear in court, the report said.
The officer also discovered the man was driving with a suspended license and did not have proof of insurance. The man was taken to the Arnold Police Station, where he was booked and held for the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, according to the report.
Arnold Police issued the man summonses to appear in Arnold Municipal Court for allegedly driving with a suspended license, driving with expired license plates and driving without proof of insurance, Detective Lt. Jeremy Christopher said.
