Arnold Police got a call at 10:43 p.m. Aug. 4 about suspicious activity on the parking lot outside the Gordman’s store in the Arnold Crossroads Center and ended up arresting an Arnold man and two men from out of state who allegedly were found with a methamphetamine lab, a police report said.
The three men, who allegedly had been looking inside vehicles in the parking lot, were staying at the nearby Pear Tree Inn, and when officers searched their room, they allegedly found the meth lab, Police Detective Lt. James Jones said.
All three men – a 47-year-old Arnold man, a 50-year-old Charles City, Iowa, man and a 24-year-old Hopwood, Pa., man were taken to the Arnold Police Department, booked and released pending application for warrants. Arnold Police will seek felony drug charges against them through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, the report said.
