Arnold Police arrested a 29-year-old St. Louis woman for allegedly driving while intoxicated. The woman was allegedly found slumped behind the wheel of a running SUV that was on the shoulder of Lakeview Crossing near Telegraph Road, police reported.
An officer was called at about 1:25 a.m. April 27 due the woman being seen in the stopped 2005 Jeep Compass. The SUV was in drive when the officer arrived, the report said.
The officer woke up the woman and turned off the SUV’s engine. The woman allegedly appeared to be impaired, but she refused to perform field sobriety tests, according to the report.
She was arrested and taken to the Police Station, where she was booked and released, the report said.
The woman was issued a summons to appear in Arnold Municipal Court for alleged DWI, Detective Lt. Jeremy Christopher said.
