A 40-year-old St. Louis man was arrested in Arnold for allegedly driving while his license was revoked. He also was suspected of driving while intoxicated, Arnold Police reported.
At about 2:40 p.m. March 13, Arnold Police got a call about a man driving a 2007 Dodge Charger erratically in the parking lot at Walmart, 2201 Michigan Ave. Officers already had received reports that someone was driving the Charger erratically in the Arnold Commons shopping plaza’s parking lot, the report said.
An officer saw the Charger in the Walmart parking lot and stopped the driver. The officer said it appeared the man was under the influence of narcotics and alcohol, the report said.
The officer discovered the man’s driver’s license had been revoked because of a prior conviction. Also, the man was wanted on a warrant from St. Louis County Police, according to the report.
The man was taken to the Police Station and booked, and then after he said he was suffering from medical issues, he was transported to an area hospital. Arnold Police will seek charges against the man through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for felony driving with a revoked license and DWI, Detective Lt. Jeremy Christopher said.
