Arnold Police got a call about three people acting suspiciously in a vehicle parked at A Street and Starling Airport Road and ended up arresting a 30-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman, both of Pevely, on outstanding warrants. In addition, Arnold Police are seeking a 22-year-old Hillsboro man who ran from the vehicle, a report said.
Just after 9 p.m. Nov. 10, Arnold Police got a call about the three sitting in the vehicle. When officers arrived, the Hillsboro man ran away and could not be found in the vicinity. However, the Pevely man and woman, who were wanted in Madison County for stealing a motor vehicle, were taken into custody, Detective Lt. James Jones said.
He said the Pevely pair was turned over to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, which would hold them for Madison County authorities. The 21-year-old Hillsboro man was identified as the suspect who ran away and was entered as wanted. As of Nov. 21, he had not been taken into custody, Jones said.
