A 23-year-old Arnold man was arrested following a brief struggle with police officers outside of Walmart, 2201 Michigan Ave. The man allegedly stole $415.53 from the store, Arnold Police reported.
At about 7:45 a.m. Dec. 23, the man allegedly stole a television, headphones, watch, knife and energy drinks from the store. He was stopped in the parking lot by officers, but he refused to comply while being arrested leading to a short physical altercation, the report said.
The man was taken to the Police Station, where he was booked, according to the report.
He was issued a summons to appear in Arnold Municipal Court for alleged stealing, Detective Lt. Jeremy Christopher said.
