Arnold Police arrested a 31-year-old man, who appears to be homeless, for allegedly threatening employees and refusing to leave the Walmart department store, 2201 Michigan Ave. The man allegedly rode on a display bicycle in the store before being stopped by employees, police reported.
Police were called at about 7 p.m. Oct. 18 to the store after employees repeatedly told the man to leave the store. The man initially refused to leave, but he had exited the store when an officer arrived. He was arrested outside of the building, the report said.
The man was taken to the Police Station, where he was booked and released with a summons to appear in Arnold Municipal Court for alleged trespassing and fourth-degree assault, Detective Lt. Jeremy Christopher said.
