A 27-year-old Imperial woman and a 22-year-old St. Louis woman recently were arrested in Arnold for felony stealing, Arnold Police report.

At 8:58 p.m. May 24, Arnold Police detectives were at the Kohl’s store, 2150 Michigan Ave., in Arnold investigating a separate incident and saw the two women allegedly steal $728 in merchandise. When the women were taken into custody, they were found with drug paraphernalia, the report said.

In addition, the St. Louis woman already was wanted on outstanding warrants from Shrewsbury for traffic violations and shoplifting and from St. Louis County for possession of drug paraphernalia. She was booked and held for St. Louis County Police. The Imperial woman was booked and released pending application for warrants, Arnold Police Detective Sgt. James Jones said.

He said Arnold Police will seek charges against the women through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. As of June 3, though, no charges had been filed.
