A 28-year-old Festus man recently was arrested in Arnold for alleged drug possession, and a 30-year-old De Soto man was arrested on outstanding warrants, Arnold Police report.

At 5:06 p.m. April 18, Arnold Police got a call about suspicious men at the Gordman’s store in the Arnold Crossroads complex at Hwy. 141 and Jeffco Boulevard and found the suspects there, the report said.

When the Festus man was searched, officers allegedly found him with heroin and meth, according to the report.

Officers discovered the De Soto man was wanted in St. Louis County on an outstanding warrant for driving with no insurance, the report said.

Both men were booked, and the Festus man was released pending application for warrants, and the De Soto man was held for St. Louis County Police, according to the report.

Arnold Police will seek charges against both men through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, Arnold Police Capt. Robert Ruckman said.
