Arnold Police recently arrested a 29-year-old De Soto man and a 32-year-old Doe Run man following a traffic stop in the 1500 block of Key West Drive. The De Soto man was arrested for allegedly driving with a revoked license and the Doe Run man for alleged possession of methamphetamine and illegal possession of a gun, according to an Arnold Police report.
The De Soto man was driving when Arnold Police pulled him over July 30 for alleged traffic violations. The Doe Run man, who was a passenger, allegedly was found with both the meth and a 9 mm handgun, and he wasn’t supposed to have a gun because he was a convicted felon, the report said.
The two men were booked and released pending application for warrants. Arnold Police will seek charges against both of them through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, Detective Lt. James Jones said.
