A 58-year-old Arnold man was arrested July 2 for allegedly firing a gun in the 1800 block of Pomme Road because he was mad that a neighbor was shooting fireworks, Arnold Police Detective James Jones said.
At 9:25 p.m., Arnold Police got a call that the man had “displayed a firearm in an attempt to frighten his neighbor for shooting fireworks,” the report said. Witnesses said the man fired the gun, but the man denied it, Jones said.
He said police didn’t find a round at the scene. However, the man was arrested.
The suspect was booked and released pending application for warrants. Arnold Police will seek charges against the man through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. As of Monday (July 11), no charges had been filed, Jones said.
