A 22-year-old Arnold man wanted on numerous outstanding warrants recently was arrested following an alleged shoplifting incident at the Walmart Supercenter, 2201 Michigan Ave., in Arnold, according to Arnold Police.
At 5:51 p.m. Feb. 21, Arnold Police got a call that the man allegedly had stolen $24.85 in merchandise from the Walmart store, and when officers arrived, they discovered he was wanted on warrants, the report said.
He was wanted in Jefferson County for a DWI and probation violation; in St. Louis County for DWI, property damage and traffic violations; in Arnold for having no auto insurance; and in Webster Groves for speeding, Arnold Police Detective Lt. James Jones said.
The man was booked, issued a summons to appear in Arnold Municipal Court for misdemeanor stealing, and once he paid the Arnold Municipal Court bond, he was turned over to one of the other law enforcement agencies, Jones said.
