A little fender bender led to the arrest of a 36-year-old Arnold man. The man was driving with a suspended driver’s license, and he was wanted on outstanding warrants, Arnold Police reported.
At about 3:05 p.m. Nov. 27, the man was driving a 2000 Plymouth Voyager at the intersection of Richardson Road and Jeffco Boulevard, and the van was rear-ended by a 2016 Chevrolet Malibu. No one was injured in the accident, which happened near the Ponderosa Steakhouse, 3601 Jeffco Blvd., and both vehicles were able to be driven from the scene, the report said.
While police were at the scene of the accident, officers discovered the man did not have a valid driver’s license and was wanted in Jefferson County and Byrnes Mill on warrants for traffic violations, a report said.
He was arrested, transported to the Police Station and issued a summons to appear in Arnold Municipal Court for driving with a suspended license. He was held for one of the other law enforcement agencies, Lt. Clinton Wooldridge said.
