A 29-year-old Arnold man has been arrested for allegedly burglarizing his mother’s apartment in the 1900 block of Richardson Place in Arnold, says Capt. Robert Ruckman of the Arnold Police Department.
The burglary occurred between 6:15 a.m. and 5:15 p.m. April 4, when the man allegedly used a key he has to the apartment to get inside and stole two TVs; a DVD player; a PlayStation 4 video console and controller; and five video games. In all, the items were valued at $1,550, the report said.
The victim told Arnold Police she suspected her son, and later he was arrested. Arnold Police will seek felony stealing charges against him through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, according to the report.
As of April 14, the stolen items had not been recovered, and no charges had been filed, Ruckman said.
