A 41-year-old Arnold man recently was arrested for alleged possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia, Arnold Police report.
In addition, he and a 47-year-old Arnold woman who was with him were arrested for obstructing an officer, the report said.
Both already were wanted on outstanding warrants, according to the report.
At 4:07 p.m. March 11, an Arnold Police officer pulled over the couple in the 3900 block of Jeffco Boulevard and allegedly found the man with heroin and drug paraphernalia, according to the report.
Both he and the woman allegedly lied about their identity, too, Arnold Police Capt. Robert Ruckman said.
The man was wanted on outstanding warrants from Jefferson County for felony stealing; from St. Louis County for petty larceny and driving with no insurance; from Kirkwood for misdemeanor stealing; from Union for driving with a revoked license and no insurance; and from St. Louis for speeding, Ruckman said.
The woman was wanted on outstanding warrants from Arnold for misdemeanor stealing, false declaration and driving with a revoked license.
She was booked and held until she posted bond for the Arnold Municipal charges, and the man was booked and held for Jefferson County authorities.
Arnold Police will seek charges against both of them through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, Ruckman said.
