A 49-year-old Arnold man recently was arrested for alleged domestic assault and outstanding warrants, Arnold Police report.
At 6:48 p.m. April 24, Arnold Police got a call that the man had assaulted a woman at their home on Lantern Light, the report said.
The woman was not seriously hurt, Arnold Police Capt. Robert Ruckman said.
When officers arrived on the scene, they discovered the man was wanted in Jefferson County on an outstanding warrant and $15,000 bond for driving while intoxicated, Ruckman said.
The suspect was a persistent offender, Ruckman added.
The man also was wanted in St. John on an outstanding warrant for driving with a revoked license, Ruckman said.
The suspect was booked, issued a summons to appear in Arnold Municipal Court for third-degree domestic assault, held for 12 hours and then released to Jefferson County authorities, Ruckman said.
