A 24-year-old Arnold man wanted on a felony warrant was arrested after allegedly running from police. The man was wanted in Jefferson County on a warrant for possession of narcotics, Arnold Police reported.
At 8:22 a.m. July 21, Arnold Police went to a home in the 2000 block of Valmont Drive in Arnold, and the homeowner let officers inside. However, the suspect, who also was at the home, allegedly ran out the back door. Officers found him a short time later on Glatt Drive and took him into custody, Detective Lt. James Jones said.
The man was booked and, after making “suicidal statements,” was transported to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in south St. Louis County for evaluation, the report said.
Arnold Police will seek charges against him for resisting arrest, Jones said.
