A 27-year-old Arnold man was arrested for allegedly pointing a gun at his neighbor, Arnold Police reported.
At 7:28 p.m. Oct. 20, police were called to Airglades Drive after the man reportedly got into an argument with his 44-year-old neighbor. The older man reportedly had sex with the younger man’s girlfriend the night before, so the 27-year-old man allegedly pointed a .22 Mossberg at his neighbor during the argument, the report said.
When police arrived, the 27-year-old denied having a gun. However, the unloaded gun reportedly was found in his vehicle. In addition, officers allegedly smelled marijuana in the trunk and found a bag containing drug paraphernalia in the car, according to the report.
The 27-year-old man was arrested and taken to the Police Station, where he was booked and later released pending application for warrants. Arnold Police will seek charges against the man through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for second-degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon and possession of drug paraphernalia, Lt. Tom Leassner said.
