Arnold Police are trying to identify a man who allegedly stole items worth $883.92 from Home Depot, 3865 Vogel Road, and fled from officers in a pickup driven by another man, police reported.
Officers were called at about 6:40 p.m. March 10 to the store when the man reportedly left with merchandise. He left the stolen items in the parking lot when police saw him, the report said.
He then got into a blue 1995 Ford F-150, and the driver sped away. The pickup was last seen headed north on I-55, according to the report.
The stolen merchandise was returned to the store, the report said.
As of March 14, the suspect had not been identified, Detective Lt. Jeremy Christopher said. Anyone with information about the incident should call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
