Arnold Police are trying to identify a woman who allegedly assaulted an employee at the Goodwill Store and Donation Center, 3616 Richardson Square Way. The woman was described as being between 50 and 60 years old with brown and gray hair and was wearing a black jacket and black pants, police reported.
A 62-year-old Arnold woman called the police just before noon on May 8 to report the assault. She told officers that the customer was upset due to not being able to return a nonrefundable item, the report said.
The woman said the customer started swinging a bag that had merchandise in it, and it hit her in the chest. The customer then left the store and drove away in a white Jeep SUV, according to the report.
As of Monday, May 12, the woman who allegedly assaulted the employee had not been identified, Detective Lt. Jeremy Christopher said. He asks anyone with information about the alleged assault to call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
