An Arnold man and woman could be facing charges for allegedly assaulting each other at their mobile home in the Starling Community. The domestic dispute occurred about 8 a.m. July 24, and police were called to the home at about 7 a.m. the next day, Arnold Police reported.
The 31-year-old man said his wife, a 33-year-old woman, left scratch marks on his right cheek after they had an argument. The woman told authorities she was defending herself because the man allegedly hit her several times in her legs, the report said.
Because the man had a visible injury and the woman had marks on her legs, Arnold Police will seek third-degree assault charges against both of them through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, Lt. Clinton Wooldridge said.
