A masked intruder brandishing a semiautomatic handgun held up a clerk at about 1 a.m. June 29 at the 7-Eleven convenience store, 3695 West Outer Road, in Arnold, authorities reported.
Arnold Police Maj. Clinton Wooldridge said the suspect, thought to be male, got away with an estimated $100.
No injuries were reported.
“The clerk was the only one there,” Wooldridge said.
Officers reported that the suspect entered the store wearing a black ballcap, a green face mask, a red Cardinals jacket and black pants, then pointed a semiautomatic handgun at the clerk and demanded money. After retrieving money from the register, the suspect exited the store and fled on foot toward Elm Road.
As of July 7, no money had been recovered and no arrests had been made, Wooldridge said.
