Arnold Police are investigating a theft of two air-conditioning units, together valued at $7,000, from Bethel Pentecostal Church, 2125 Richardson Road. The theft happened between 7:30 p.m. July 8 and 3:49 a.m. July 9, the report said.
Someone reportedly had tampered with the air-conditioning units on July 5, so Arnold Police had been patroling the area. An officer who stopped by to check the church early on July 9, noticed the units were missing, Lt. Tom Leassner said.
As of July 13, the stolen items had not been recovered, and there were no suspects or arrests, Leassner said. He asks anyone with information about the theft to call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
