The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information about a recent theft of $6,750 in batteries from the Wrecking Crew in the 7000 block of Jim Weber Road in Eureka.
Sometime between Jan. 1 and Feb. 7, someone entered an unlocked shed on the property and stole 90 black and orange C&D Technologies Dynasty UPS batteries, the Sheriff’s Office reported.
The owner said he salvaged the batteries from a demolition job, said Capt. Ron Arnhart of the Sheriff’s Office
As of Tuesday (Feb. 17), the batteries had not been recovered, and there were no suspects or arrests, Arnhart said.
