Arnold Police are investigating the theft of 25 used automobile batteries from the Walmart Auto Care Center, 2201 Michigan Ave. A fence was damaged, too, Arnold Police reported.
Walmart management told Arnold Police that at 2:40 a.m. July 31, someone driving a Ford Econoline van caused $500 worth of damage to the fence and stole the batteries, which were valued at $300. As of Aug. 10, the stolen batteries had not been recovered, Lt. Clinton Wooldridge said.
He said there were no suspects or arrests either. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
