The De Soto Chamber of Commerce and co-sponsor Leader Publications plan to hold the 24th annual De Soto Home Show on Saturday, April 10, at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 13225 Hwy. E, in De Soto.
Last year’s event was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
“We are excited at the prospect of getting back to face-to-face interaction with the folks in our community,” Leader publisher Pam LaPlant said. “But we are being very careful. Safety has to be our first and most important concern.”
Masks will be required for everyone, and visitors are asked to practice social distancing as much as possible.
Admission and parking are free. All ages are welcome.
The event will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will feature both indoor and outdoor displays from a variety of vendors offering home products and services. Many vendors will offer giveaways, discounts or drawings during the show, and some also will have items for sale.
Representatives from local first responder agencies are expected to be on hand as well.
A special section will be published in the Leader on April 8, detailing some of the activities slated for the day. More information will be forthcoming as plans are finalized.
