The Pevely Board of Aldermen voted unanimously Monday (June 19) to approve a business license for Shadow of Missouri LLC, a horse-trailer sales business.
Shadow of Missouri, which has been selling horse trailers at 3963 West Outer Road just outside of Arnold, will soon move to 1884 Hwy. Z in Pevely, where Redline Welding used to operate.
David Walther, the owner of Shadow of Missouri, said Tuesday (June 20) that his business is expected to open at its new location “in the next couple of weeks.”
He said the reason for the move is simply because he likes the Pevely site.
“It’s a visible location and it’s near the highway (I-55),” Walther said.
Walther and his wife, Kellee, live in St. Louis and operate Shadow of Missouri by themselves. They have no plans to add employees, David Walther said.
He said Shadow of Missouri sells quality products.
“It’s more higher-end horse trailers,” he said.
