The Peace Pantry will hold a drive-thru food collection event from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday (Nov. 21) at the Cedar Hill Farmers Market area outside the pantry, 8100 S. Industrial Drive, in Cedar Hill.
“It’s a no-touch, food drop-off at the Farmers Market,” Peace Pantry president Linda Schroeder said. “They drive through and we’ll get the donations from them. They don’t have to leave their cars.
“We’re asking for canned goods and quick meals, like macaroni and cheese or Hamburger Helper.”
The Peace Pantry provides food and clothing to those in need. For more information about the organization, visit the nonprofit organization’s website at peacepantry.org.
