Nearly 50 employers will participate in the third annual Jefferson County Job Fair, giving job seekers the opportunity to visit them all in one place at one time.

The job fair also will offer job seekers the chance to have experts review their resumes and get professional social media photos taken – all for free.

In addition, prizes will be awarded during the event, which will run from 3-6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 19, at the Fox C-6 Service Center, 849 Jeffco Bvld., in Arnold.

“The Job Fair brings together a great variety of employers,” said Peggy Scott, assistant publisher for Leader Publications, one of the Job Fair sponsors.

The Job Fair, presented by Express Employment Professionals, also is sponsored by the Arnold Chamber of Commerce, the Fox C-6 School District, the city of Arnold and Jefferson College.

Organizers expect employer spaces to sell out this week, Scott said.

Those employers will be seeking workers in health care, manufacturing, information technology, and much more. Jobs are available for part-time, full-time, experienced and first-time job seekers, Scott said.

“Employers will be ready to hire on the spot,” she said. “Job seekers should be prepared to apply and even receive job offers at the fair.”
