A red panda underwent dental work for a sore tooth at a zoo.
Bruce was taken for a check-up after concerned keepers spotted he was eating less of his food.
He was placed under general anaesthetic as vets examined him - and were happy to discover that the only problem was a poorly tooth.

Vets from the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland removed the problem tooth and gave Bruce a "full-body MOT" to make sure he was otherwise healthly.
Bruce, eleven, was given a clean bill of health and returned to his enclosure - where he has gone back to nibbling on bamboo and napping in the trees as usual.
