The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) announced it has upcoming closures planned for Sunridge Trail and Truman Boulevard (Hwy. 61-67) in Crystal City for drainage installation.
Work requiring full closure of Sunridge Trail at Hwy. 61-67 is slated to begin at 7 a.m. Sept. 30 and continue until 5 a.m. Oct. 10, MoDOT said in a written statement issued today, Sept. 23. Motorists may use Missouri Avenue to access Sunridge Trail, the statement said.
In addition, MoDOT will close a section of Hwy. 61-67 near Sunridge Trail starting at 7 p.m. Oct. 2 and the closure will continue to 5 a.m. Oct. 3. Motorists may use the Hwy. A exit in Festus to northbound I-55 to McNutt Street in Herculaneum to navigate around the closure, department officials said.
Message boards will alert drivers to the closure. All work is weather permitting.
