The Leader is holding two trivia nights in September – the first one during Twin City Days and the second during the Arnold Days Festival. Players are needed for both events.
Twin City Days trivia
The Twin City Days Trivia Night will be held Thursday, Sept. 7, at Festus Middle School, 1717 W. Main St. Doors will open at 7 p.m. and trivia will start at 7:30 p.m.
Admission is $10 per player and includes snacks. Beverages will be available for purchase. Outside food and drink are welcome but no alcohol or tobacco products are allowed.
Teams of up to eight players will compete for cash prizes by answering questions in categories such as TV shows, music, sports, history and more. Individual players are welcome as well; they will be assigned to a team.
The trivia night will kick off the Twin City Days festival, which will run through Saturday, Sept. 9. A variety of festivities are planned, including contests, children’s activities, live music and food.
Arnold Days trivia
A new event at Arnold Days this year is the Arnold Days Trivia Night, slated for Thursday, Sept. 14, at the Arnold Recreation Center, 1695 Missouri State Road. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m., and trivia questions will begin at 7 p.m.
Admission is $10 per player and includes popcorn and pretzels. Soda and water will be available for purchase. Outside food and adult beverages are welcome but no tobacco products are allowed.
Teams of up to eight players will compete for cash prizes. Individual players are also welcome; they will be assigned to a team.
The contest will include questions in a variety of categories, such as TV shows, music, sports, history and more, with some special questions about the Arnold community as well.
Most of the other Arnold Days festivities will be held Friday through Sunday, Sept. 15-17, at Arnold City Park on Bradley Beach Road, off Jeffco Boulevard near the Meramec River.
