Birthdays are a time for celebration, which rings true for colleges, too.
Jefferson College Arnold will celebrate its 15-year anniversary Tuesday, May 10, by planting 15 trees around the campus at 1687 Missouri State Road.
Forest ReLeaf of Missouri donated the trees to the college.
The trees will bring new life to Jefferson College's Arnold campus, which is located behind the Arnold Recreation Center.
Volunteers will plant the trees. The volunteers will meet in the JCA lobby with their own gloves and shovels before the event. College employees may check with their supervisor to see if participating in the event counts toward their Community Service Leave hours.
Jefferson College's main campus is in Hillsboro. It also has a campus in Imperial.
