A House Springs couple found dead May 30 in a mobile home in the 4900 block of Darren Drive in House Springs died of natural causes, the Jefferson County Medical Examiner’s Office reports.
Robert Scott Callier, 54, and his wife Deborah Sue Callier, 50, were found dead after a neighbor called the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office at 3:31 p.m. May 30 after not seeing the couple for a while, Lt. Gary Higginbotham said.
Today (Aug. 1), Angie Comte, a medical secretary with the Medical Examiner’s Office, said the office’s report indicates Deborah Callier died of hypertensive cardiovascular disease. Robert Callier’s cause of death is listed as undetermined, but of a natural cause, according to the report.
Higginbotham said the Sheriff’s Office investigation did not indicate foul play.
“There were no signs of forced entry. There were no obvious signs of injury,” Higginbotham said. “This one was a mystery because we did not know.”
He said today that the Sheriff’s Office had not yet received the medical examiner’s report.
