In celebration of Easter this year, the High Ridge Fire Protection District will hold a drive-thru Breakfast with the Easter Bunny.
It will be held over two Saturdays and will be open to those all those live in the district, Capt. John Barton said.
The event will be from 8:30 a.m. to noon March 27 and April 3 at the district’s headquarters, 2842 High Ridge Blvd.
Barton said registration for the event is required. A registration form may be found on the district’s Facebook page or the High Ridge Professional Firefighters’ website at highridgefirefighters.org.
He said registration is open now and will close at 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 24.
Barton said children 12 and younger will receive a free glazed doughnut from Walmart and a drink. He said the Easter bunny also will hand out candy-filled eggs and prizes.
The district usually offers a sit-down breakfast with the Easter bunny, but this year it’s replaced with the drive-thru event, and last year the event was canceled and instead the district delivered Easter goodie bags to those who lived inside district boundaries.
Barton said the district includes High Ridge, Byrnes Mill, part of House Springs and a small portion of the Fenton area.
