A heroin awareness walk will be held Saturday (Sept. 9) in Festus during the Twin City Days festival.
Organizers are seeking participants, who will meet at 9:15 a.m. at the Farmer’s Market lot in front of Pogolino’s, 29 East Main St. Organizer Beth Hudson will speak briefly, and there will be a moment of silence for those who have died from addiction. The walk will begin at 9:30 a.m.
