The Fox C-6 School District Community Engagement Meeting scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday night (May 10) will be held at the Fox High School gymnasium, 751 Jeffco Blvd., in Arnold.
District officials originally planned to hold the meeting at the Fox C-6 Service Center but decided to hold it instead in the gym, which is a larger venue, to better accommodate a crowd.
The Fox district is holding the meeting to inform parents and other local residents about the district’s financial picture and improvements needed at district facilities while school officials consider placing a bond issue on the November ballot. Public feedback also will be sought at the meeting.
The district has been working with a citizens committee, including about 35 parents, to identify building needs and potential improvements. Members of that committee will lead the meeting, Superintendent Jim Wipke said.
