With the ballots from the Aug. 7 primary election tabulated, it’s time to take a glance at the Nov. 6 general election.
The general election features the winners of each political party’s primary election.
Here is the lineup of contested races for county positions as well as local seats in the Missouri General Assembly and Congress.
COUNTY EXECUTIVE: Dennis Gannon (Republican) and Jeff Roorda (Democrat).
AUDITOR: Kristy L. Apprill (Republican), the current auditor who was appointed last year to the seat after Richard Carter resigned, and Charles Huey (Democrat).
CIRCUIT CLERK: Incumbent Mike Reuter (Republican) and Dorothy Stafford (Democrat).
COLLECTOR: Lisa “Brewer” Short (Republican) and incumbent Beth Mahn (Democrat).
CIRCUIT JUDGE: Division 4: Brenda Stacey (Republican) and Jacob “Jake” Costello (Democrat).
COUNTY CLERK: Ken Waller (Republican) and Randy B. Holman (Democrat), whom Waller, as county executive, appointed after Wes Wagner resigned in early 2017.
PROSECUTING ATTORNEY: Trisha C. Stefanski (Republican) and Tom Hollingsworth (Democrat).
RECORDER OF DEEDS: Incumbent Debbie Dunnegan (Republican) and Erin Kasten (Democrat).
COUNTY COUNCIL
DISTRICT 1: Brian Haskins (Republican) and Robert “Cob” Constantz (Democrat).
DISTRICT 3: Phil Hendrickson (Republican), who was appointed to replace Bob Boyer after he took office as auditor in 2017, and Krystal Lee Hargis (Democrat).
DISTRICT 5: Tracey Perry (Republican) and Dan Darian (Democrat), who was appointed after Jim Kasten resigned in late 2017.
DISTRICT 7: Incumbent Jim Terry (Republican) and Amy Jennewein (Democrat).
STATE SENATE
DISTRICT 22: Incumbent Paul Wieland (Republican), Robert Butler (Democrat) and Richie Camden (Libertarian).
DISTRICT 26: Dave Schatz (Republican) and Nicolas Chlebowski (Democrat).
STATE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES
DISTRICT 97: Mary Elizabeth Coleman (Republican) and incumbent Mike Revis (Democrat).
DISTRICT 110: Dottie Bailey (Republican) and Cody Kelley (Democrat).
DISTRICT 111: Incumbent Shane Roden (Republican) and Phoebe Ottomeyer (Democrat).
DISTRICT 112: Incumbent Rob Vescovo (Republican) and Benjamin Hagin (Democrat).
DISTRICT 113: Incumbent Dan Shaul (Republican) and Karen Settlemoir-Berg (Democrat).
DISTRICT 114: Incumbent Becky Ruth (Republican) and Dennis McDonald (Democrat).

U.S. CONGRESS
SENATOR: Josh Hawley (Republican), incumbent Claire McCaskill (Democrat), Japheth Campbell (Libertarian) and Jo Crain (Green Party).
HOUSE DISTRICT 2: Incumbent Ann Wagner (Republican), Cort VanOstran (Democrat), Larry A. Kirk (Libertarian) and David Justus Arnold (Green Party).
HOUSE DISTRICT 3: Incumbent Blaine Luetkemeyer (Republican), Katy Geppert (Democrat) and Donald V. Stolle (Libertarian).
HOUSE DISTRICT 8: Incumbent Jason Smith (Republican), Kathy Ellis (Democrat) and Jonathan L. Shell (Libertarian).
Running unopposed in the November general election will be Republicans Elaine Freeman Gannon, the state House District 115 incumbent; circuit judge candidates Joe Rathert (Div. 1), Vic Melenbrink (Div. 5) and Troy Cardona (Div. 6), and, for associate circuit judge, Jeffrey Coleman (Div. 10), Ed Page (Div. 11), Antonio (Tony) Manasala (Div. 12), Katherine Hardy Senkel (Div. 13), Tim Miller (Div. 14) and Shannon Dougherty (Div. 15).
