Three people are running for two open seats on the Big River Ambulance District’s Board of Directors in the April 4 election.
Both of the current members whose three-year terms are expiring, Josh Williams of Dittmer and Janet Taylor of Cedar Hill, are seeking new terms, Williams his fourth and Taylor her fifth. They face a challenge from Jason C. Jarvis of Dittmer.
None of the three candidates returned a Leader candidate questionnaire.
The six board members each are paid $100 per meeting with a maximum of one meeting per month; additional meetings outside of the regular monthly meeting are unpaid.
The district serves the area north of Hillsboro, including Cedar Hill.
